Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Roll Call: Photo Cleaner ("Roll Call", "the app") handles your information. Roll Call is made by Brightwood Labs LLC ("we", "us").

The short version: Roll Call doesn't collect your data. Your photos are analyzed on your iPhone and are never sent to us or anyone else.

Information we collect

None. Roll Call doesn't collect, store or transmit any personal information, photos, videos, usage data or device identifiers to us or to any third party.

Photos access

Roll Call asks for access to your photo library through Apple's Photos framework. It uses that access only to:

• show your photos and videos in the app;
• analyze them on your device to sort them into piles such as screenshots, blurry, dark, screen recordings, big videos and similar shots; and
• delete items, only after you confirm.

All analysis happens on your iPhone. If you use iCloud Photos, Apple's Photos framework may download a full-size copy from your iCloud account so you can see it; that transfer is between your device and Apple. Deleted items move to the Recently Deleted album in Photos, where they stay for 30 days and can be recovered. You can change or revoke Photos access at any time in iOS Settings.

Network use

Roll Call has no servers and sends nothing to us. The only network activity is Apple's: iCloud Photos downloads (above) and the App Store when you buy or restore the unlock.

No accounts, analytics, ads or tracking

Roll Call has no accounts or sign-in. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs. We don't track you across apps or websites, and we don't sell or share any data.

Purchases

The optional one-time unlock is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Roll Call doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version here and update the effective date above.
